 Life Science


Excellims IMS technology has many applications in life sciences research. Much faster than HPLC, our GA-2100 Electrospray IMS is perfect for rapidly and sensitively analyzing liquid samples, making it ideal for Pharmaceutical Cleaning Validation, process monitoring, and many other types of analysis. Our patented Chiral IMS technology allows separation of enantiomers in almost real time for method development and quality control. Custom IMS-MS systems have multiple applications that cannot be accomplished by either IMS or MS, and our IMS Toolkits enable researchers to rapidly and economically begin developing their own IMS analytical programs.


 Security


Explosives and chemical agent detection drove IMS research and development throughout the late 1990's. Excellims offers High Resolution IMS and IMS-MS systems that offer researchers the ability to fully understand the performance of the existing COTS products. In addition, the same type of Drift Gas Modification used in Excellims Chiral IMS products may have significant value in separating desired analytes from interferents in messy backgrounds. Excellims has patented a multi-dimensional orthogonal IMS that can offer improved ionization of thermally labile and weak charge absorbers in the first drift tube, high resolution separation in a second drift tube, and drift gas modification in a third drift tube allowing one instrument to accurately analyze the widest possible range of explosives, chemical agents and toxic industrial chemicals.


 Research Tools


Our full line of IMS components and kits will allow you to begin using IMS in your laboratory quickly and at low cost. We offer a full "turnkey" system that consists of High Resolution drift tube, complete instrument controller with power supplies, and VisION data acquisition, control and analysis software. All of these components are also available individually along with our precision Bradbury Neilson gates and driver. The standard IMS-QMS system with our proprietary interface allows you to do two dimensional separations based on both ion size and mass. Other IMS-MS configurations can be custom built to your desired specification.
